Hi, I'm Buddy Babbitt's sister & saw a pic of my dad's Cougar on your home page. Was just wondering which of my bro's twisted friends ran this site? Thanks, Beth

Hi, I’m the llamafeeder, and while I “started” the llama racing group, it was definitely an effort on all llamas involved.
Back in the day, a lot of boat racers gathered on re.boats.racing.power, and basically argued about which kind of racing had the most merit. Some of the discussions got pretty ugly. I am a former offshore racer/boat painter turned vet assistant/llama farmer/custom painter. One day I was spouting my opinion on the group, and someone told me “that I wasn’t a racer anymore, so shut up and feed your llamas”…or close to that.
I replied that I would bring my llamas to the next race and kick all their butts. Then I started my own “racing series”.
Well pretty soon everybody wanted in. We had t-shirts, “races” etc. Everybody who was arguing about rules and boat classes before was now talking smack about their llama. It was a good time for a long time, and many llama racers are still in touch. Buddy was great helping me with the graphics and content, even if his llama did have a stupid name. His brand of humor was as screwed up as mine.

I used to be the ****, now I shovel it.

Thanks for answering me. I feel compelled (and somewhat frightened) to ask what Buddy's llama's name was.
